History

Central Paper - Company Info. Central Paper Company was founded August 15th 1935. Operations began from a small warehouse on Morris Avenue in downtown Birmingham. In the early days we supplied butcher paper and paper bags to the many grocery stores in Birmingham. The company was founded by Paul Ross and his two brothers-in-law. Paul Ross became the sole owner in 1958. His son Anthony has operated the business as CEO since 1963. The third generation of the Ross family is currently managing the daily operations. Paul is company President and brother Joey serves as Vice-president of Sales.

Many things have changed about Central Paper company in the last 70 plus years.
